Hello to all, hope this message finds you all enjoying your fathers day in some way. I am going in tomorrow morning for another craniotomy. The tumor has come back and according to the doctors may be trying to move laterally across my forehead to my left eye. The intent here is to hit the tumor early and hit it hard while treating it aggressively. We will do the surgery tomorrow around 9 am followed by radiation and chemotherapy in approximately 4 weeks. The doctors have said this is the best course of action to remove the largest part of the mass while killing the rest of the growth with the chemo and radiation. All of this was a lot to process over the last few weeks and after much thought decided this was the best way to go. These are the same doctors that got us here today after all and if you look at my girls what more could you ask for? Again I hope this message finds you well, thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers. We will
try to get you an update mid-week or so through my e-mail, please limit calls to my girls... they are sleeping so well!

This may not be an appropriate forum, but I am hoping someone can help me or supply a lead to follow.

I am doing family research. I have found an entry on Ancestry.com for a great grand uncle from:

U.S. Marine Corps Muster Rolls, 1798-1940 - "Naval Prison Detachment" Marine Barracks, Navy Yard, Mare Island, California

The information pertaining to this uncle says:

"Letter C.O. Naval Prison Detachment to A. A. & I. Dated May 19, 1920
Not in full duty status while PAL."

I am assuming that C.O. is Commanding Officer...or not?
I am also unclear on A.A. & I. as well as PAL.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could translate for me or direct me to a source I can access.
